Alexandra “Sanca”

Practice Manager 

Sanca was born and raised in Mallorca, Spain.  She went to The University of Colorado Boulder, where she received at Bachelors in both Geography and Art.  She then went on to become a Certified Veterinary Technician through Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology.  She has been a certified veterinary technician since 2012.  She recently became the Veterinary Practice Manager for Arvada in October of 2016.  On her free time she loves photography, snowboarding, hiking, and paddle-boarding with her dog and best friend Oscar.

 

Annie 

Lead Certified Veterinary Technician

Annie is a recent Colorado transplant, having grown up in Michigan. She attended Michigan State University, receiving a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife before going to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. When she's not at work, she can be found hiking in the mountains with her fiance Brian and Zeke the Wonder Dog, cheering on the Spartans, or spending time with their two cats,  Khaleesi and Rhea.

Tiffany

Certified Veterinary Technician, Inventory Manager

Tiffany is a native to Michigan, but has lived in Colorado for 11 years. She has been in the veterinary field for 12 years and graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology with a Certification in Veterinary Technology in 2003. Tiffany has 2 dogs, Keiko and Peanut.  In her spare time, Tiffany likes to watch movies, read mystery novels, and spend time with her husband, Jon.

Beth 

CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Beth  grew up in a small town in central Wisconsin. After graduating high school, she attended Madison Area Technical College where she received her degree as a veterinary technician. After becoming certified as a technician,  Beth worked as a tech for 7 years in the Madison area. After moving to a farm in rural Wisconsin,  she decided to start her own pet grooming business.  Beth had her own business for 7 years when  decided to make a move to Colorado to be closer to family.  She joined Arvada Veterinary Hospital in March of 2014.  She has 3 energetic boys, Tyler, Ian, and Mickey.  She has a shihtzu named Ava and a boxer named Vivian.  Beth enjoys hiking in the mountains with my family, antiques, cooking, baking, and tattoos.

April grew up in a little town in Aztec New Mexico. After she graduated high school in 2006 she moved to Denver Colorado. April met and married her husband Matt in 2007, and currently lives in Arvada,Co. She graduated formCommunity College of Denver in May of 2015 and got an associates degree in science and veterinary technology.

Mirasol

certified veterinary technician

Mirasol made her move to Colorful Colorado in 2008 and obtained a BA in Environmental Studies from Regis University. She then moved to Maryland and worked with the Maryland Park Service for a year. It was during that year that she got to spend time with raptors (owls!!) and reptiles that she knew she wanted to pursue a career that kept her working along side animals. She then returned to Colorado and started to pursue her Associates in Veterinary Technology at the Community College of Denver. She hopes to be a certified technician within the next year. On her spare time you can find Mirasol eating ice cream with her boyfriend and their dog Sharky or taking pictures of bugson a trail in the great outdoors!

 

 

ROSE

Receptionist 

Rose grew up in a small town in Oregon and lived in Washington briefly before moving to beautiful Colorado in 2010. A lifelong animal lover, she has been working in the animal field for over 16 years. In her free time she enjoys reading, birdwatching, and spending time with her two cats, Bramble and Nettle.

 

Rebecca 

Receptionist 

Rebecca moved to Colorado March 2017 from Houston, Texas to enjoy the outdoors. She has been in the veterinary field since 2009. Rebecca has her associate in Mechanical Engineering Technology and is a Texas Certified Dental Assistant. She quickly realized her passion for animals and veterinary medicine is where she would rather be. She has 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 bearded dragon, a Sulcata tortoise and 3 turtles.   In Becca’s spare time she loves to travel as well as spend time with family and friends.

Brooklyn

Exam Room Assistant 

Brooklyn was born and raised in Riverton, Wyoming. She graduated from Central Wyoming College in 2012 and moved to Colorado where she found her calling working with animals. She enjoys video games, dancing and exploring Denver festival and conventions with her friends. She has two rambunctious cats named Lafayette and Lila that she loves to spend time with.

 

Aaron 

Certified Veterinary Technician 

Aaron is a Colorado native and grew up right here in Arvada. After graduating high school Aaron attended Bel-rea Institute of Animal Technology. He graduated from Bel-Rea in 2015 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in April of 2016. After Bel-Rea he worked as a surgery technician at a specialty hospital. Aaron joined Arvada Veterinary Hospital to build his skills outside of a surgical department to become a well-rounded CVT. In his free time Aaron enjoys spending his time with his family and friends.
